Has anyone successfully flashed the NEC MegaRaid 946N-8i to Broadcom 9460-8i firmware? I don't need to boot from the 946N (or NVMe), I'd just like reliable SAS3 with native 4K drives. NEC says cards should take the Broadcom firmware but I get the dreaded "Description = image corrupted" message when I download the firmware with StorCLI64. The same firmware image works just fine with an Avago SAS 9460-8i.
