I'm looking to pick up some RAM for a server build I'm doing for a nonprofit (credit union). They are looking to have 2x Dell servers with around 128gb DDR4 ECC each.
Anyone looking to sell please shoot me a PM.
I have 3 HP DL 360 Servers, they were backup stock, so when I got them a few months ago it was the first time they were turned on. Specs are below, I have Rails and boxes for these.

Memory 32GB HP 4 X 8GB 713755-071 Memory

Good Afternoon, Everyone
I have eight HPE 32GB (1x32GB) Dual Rank x4 DDR4-2666 CAS-19-19-19 Reg Smart Memory Kits (838083-B21) that i am looking to sell. They are new and individually sealed in clam shells. I am asking $320 $300 per module shipped but am willing to negotiate on lots of 4. -...
Is a Threadripper build with 128GB unbuffered ECC RAM at 2400+ Mhz a realistic goal?
Threadripper only takes unbuffered RAM, which really limits my options.
here is my problem:
I can't do 4x32 Gb sticks because I can't find unregistered ECC 32Gb sticks, much less single rank ones.
I could do...
As per title, I would like to buy a number of the following:
8 GB, DDR3, PC3-12800E, 1600MHz, ECC UDIMM modules of 72-bit, 240-pin SDRAM.
I would greatly prefer Hynix DRAM chips. The module manufacturer is of secondary importance, but neverthess I would like to know who this is too.
12 x 8 GB ECC UDIMM modules 1600 MHz wanted to buy from EU-based seller.
Please let me know:
* stress-test and burn-in performed?
* module brand and manufacturer, and same for chip; catalogue/serial numbers would be ideal
I recently purchased a Threadripper 1950X, which I intend to use to run a ZFS-based, multi-headed, multi-OS rig (Probably using Proxmox, but I plan to experiment with FreeNAS+Bhyve and maybe ESXi). However, I am currently undecided about the motherboard and memory. I would really like to use...
So I'm trying to source RAM for the board (intel) but finding exact ones as listed in their Memory compatibility chart is not that easy when you're trying to source it locally.
I've found IBM branded ECC Registered RAM (3 types: Hynix, Samsung or Micron) and it has similar timings/voltage to...
I have 10 memory modules: 16GB 2Rx4 PC4-17000 DDR4 2133MHz 1.2V ECC REGISTERED DIMM.
They are new and not used in prod environment. Bought for a science project. Server was configured and prepared but project was scraped. I would prefer to sell them to one person. PM for details.
tl:dr: ECC on Ryzen AM4 Asus B350 verifies. Drivers and kernel are catching up to ECC, 1080ti, and Ryzen SMT, but manually upgrading worked well for me. Having a spare computer relieves all the pressure of a new build.
Use case: Machine learning, cryptocurrency mining, programming, VM...
I have no further need for this set of DDR3 ECC RAM now that I've finally moved onto the much loved Xeon-D platform for the homelab. This set was originally pulled out of the base configuration of HP ProLiant DL360 G8 servers. Its 2 Micron DIMMs with 6 Nanya DIMMs, but all have the same HP...
I know AMD is marketing their new Ryzen 7 and 5 chips mainly towards enthusiasts and gamers. But, given the price and performance, and ECC support, it seems like a good competitor for single-socket Xeons (E3 series) and arguably Xeon-D. I'm waiting for a motherboard vendor like Supermicro or...
I have a SM X10SDV-6C-TLN4F that I would like to eventually put 128GB in, but for now I'm looking for 2x 32GB DDR4 ECC 2133/2400 MHz RDIMMs. Anybody have anything for sale for a reasonable price?
Thanks in advance.
I am looking for the followings:
6 or 12 sticks of Samsung PC3-12800 DDR3 16GB ECC/REG M393B2G70DB0-YK0 memory (I hope all of them have the same manufacture weeks)
2 of Intel Xeon X5690 processors
I am buying these to upgrade my workstation. Items must be functionally and cosmetically...
I am cleaning up the house a bit to support some new upgrades, so I have the following items for sale, I'll post them on ebay in a week or so if there is no interest here.
