I haven't measured the dBA, but the LB6M is probably the loudest item in my rack, and I've already had an initial go at swapping fans.Like bedroom or office quiet? Say 40decibels? Or something more? I'd like to get to 10gigabit

They aren’t quiet. They do have noise vs heat control and calm down after a bit. You have to keep in mind that they are designed to run in a data center as a top of rack network solution. I wouldn’t want one on my desk while watching a movie or playing video game.thanks for the info - i think i will pass until I have a dedicated server room
thanks! yeah, not a knock on your hardware or anything just doesn't fit my usecase which is way outside of the scope of what they were designed to do, I know that now. They aren’t quiet. Let me check on the pricing on the X520-DA2's. We do not have a coupon for the E5-2670's. We are offering a discount on the 8 sticks of 16GB.The X520-DA2's are showing up at $78 instead of $68. I need three of these. Also, do you guys have a coupon for the E5-2670s? I need a pair of these. I'm also in the market for either 16 8GB sticks or 8 16GB sticks of RAM that would work well in a Supermicro X9 board, if you have any coupons or deals for that.
They do come with railsI'm not sure if I'm missing something but does the Quanta QSSC-2ML come with rails?
I was also wondering about the $68 vs. $78 pricing on the DA2s.Any update on the DA2's? I'd like to order at least that and maybe a pair of CPU's...
