But like no joke gigabyte has one of the nicest ipmis i have worked with so far.
Very responsive and nice modern look and tons of features
Tons of settings
Temperatures & The other standard sensors
Main Dashboard
Freely configurable fancurves (not only four presets like on Supermicro X11 / X12)
Fan curves can even be based of sensors of pcie cards like gpus, with already predefined profiles!!!
Different Fan Profiles with import / export function
Full Firewall / IP Tables inside the ipmi!!!!!
Full video recording functionality, directly to remote storage and works with non chromium browser like firefox
HTML5, Java and Serial over Lan console
Also full ldap / active directory support for account management, snmp and all the standard stuff seems to be included as well
Havent used gigabyte servers much so far but, no joke i am really impressed even compared to the Supermicro X13 and current gen Asrock Rack IPMI and i havent been able to fully verify that yet but from what it appears it is running quite standard linux under the hood so maybe running third party code on the ipmi might be possible....
