WTB: Server case or JBOD storage unit with 12, 16, or 24-bays. Must be rack mountable. If it has an expander built-in then SAS or Fiber Channel connectivity preferred. No SCSI. Thanks!

I have a norco 4020 that might be difficult to rack but it has 20 bays if you are interested.

I picked up a couple of Dell MD1000s with dual PSUs and dual expanders for US$400 each including compatible drive sleds.

They take 15 drives and work fine with drives up to 2TB. I have not properly tried 3TB drives on it yet.

Most of the JBOD storage units only come with SATA 3Gb/s.
