Are the cables for these more or less common than the ones for the 9305-24i? Never used that connector type but its considerably cheaper than the 9305

It is less common - SFF-8654 to SATA breakout cable. Probably also need a proper low/high profile bracket.

I confused this with the 9600 series...
It doesn't look like the 9300s do tri-mode.

They are HBAs with no RAID functionality.

Also, Tri-mode didn't start until the 94xx cards.
