I'm looking forward to this release so I can pick up some used E5-2xxx v2 series XEON's on the cheap for my current board.

Is there any release date known for the LGA2011-v3 xeons yet?

I'll check back then. I was just curious if the release date had leaked yet.

My goodness. Those looks like monster boards. 10 gbaseT. LSI 3108 and 1.5TB of RAM? *floored*

I don't get it. Why so much 10 gbase-t? Switches are expensive and use so much power.

Did they jump the gun? I don't see other vendors with them up.

Any word on availability and pricing?
I would expect today on many of them. When I got the SYS-6018 it was a production box and that was a few weeks ago. I was told at that point runs for some of the other variants would happen after but Supermicro should have inventory for launch.
