Supermicro C202 mainboard and SATA passthrough.

Hi.

I'm looking to buy a Supermicro C202 mainboard with six sata-2 ports. When I look at the pictures of the mainboard it seems that the sata ports are grouped in one 2xsata and one 4xsata.

Anybody know if it is possible on the C202 chipset to passthrough just 4 of the ports (unraid VM) in ESXI and leave 2 of the sata's for esxi datastore?

No reason it shouldn't. You lose SMART info gathering though.

Over on VM-help.com, or w/e, is a tutorial on this matter. It still applied to 5.0, cant imagine it not working on 5.1.
