Canada Eh?
7 Lan ports , with 3 in bypass. Wow , may just replace my current 2758 router with this . (Was kinda wishing for a 275X with Fortville onboard but still)
"3 pair LAN bypass (SW programmable), total 7 GbE LAN with SoC I354, I350-AM2 and I210-AT (BMC)" (found some specs in a Supermicro document ;)

@Entz I am not sure why it is not on the official site yet.

But yea... lots of LAN. Enough to do dual WAN, 1x management (IPMI), 1x Hyper-V management, 2x 2 teamed NICs to switches.

Pricing and availability?
This is one of those times where I have hardware but am awaiting that. Frankly, there are some specs I am still trying to figure out myself by trial and error since I do not have QRG or manual.

I think the A1SRi-2758F is in the $340-360 range. I would imagine it is going to be priced higher. The sellers who seem to sell boards early at huge markups have it already for sale at $599: New Supermicro A1SRM LN7F 2758 Motherboard Full MFR Warranty | eBay

So I would say $360 low to $600 high. I do expect that the additional features (i350-AM2, i210AT, pass-through setup, high end components, larger PCB, 7-year life and etc. are going to command some sort of premium over the A1SRi-2758F though.

BTW - I posted this on the main site: http://www.servethehome.com/pfsense-22-enters-beta-top-motherboard/

I saw that chassis. SCE100-015E looks interesting too for the dual LAN Quark system.

Quark needs to run standard Linux then I'll look at it.

C2358 I'd want to see the price difference for. If it's like $300 maybe but it limits the use a lot if it isn't.

I'm not sure why I'd want bypass mode on this board. On a router it seems wrong, same goes for vm-hosts. For an instrusion detection system it would make sense, but i can solve that by using mirrored ports on a switch. A transparent proxy-kinda-thing? Am I missing something obvious?

I haven't read the manual, but no doubt you can enable/disable it?

Yes you can enable disable it. That will be in the formal review. I already have screenshots.
