Generally yes, you can mix RAM of the same family together, but they'll downclock to the lowest mutual speed; e.g. add some DDR4 2133 to a server already running 2400 and all the memory will run at 2133MT/s.

Find out the spec of the RAM you're currently running (or say what mobo and processor you're running) and you should be able to find something compatible fairly easily, DDR3 is still very common.
