Not very familiar with ipsec tunnels, but I do use OpenVPN with my XG firewall. It provides SSL VPN, comes with the home license.

Remember, with XG version, you don't have an ip limit. Only limit is the hardware.

Just bought a Supermicro X10SLM-LN4F Motherboard, with 4 Gigabit ports onboard. 60 USD (ebay). Bought a Core i3-4160T proc for 20 USD (ebay). All that's needed are memory and spare parts for chassis and psu. Should be powerful enough for any home use environment :D
