Hello,
i want to memtest some ecc sticks to see how ok those sticks are.
Part of that is seeing if they did correct errors.
I am using passmarks memtest86 v9.4 because this version of memtest managed to pick up on corrected errors on a few Intel systems i had in the past.
From then I also have some sticks that are known bad that correct errors.
Those bad sticks on Epyc, don't have corrections show up in memtest.
I am having this issue on multiple SM H11 and H12 boards as well as a Asrack Romed4i-2t.
I suspect a RomeD8 2T as well.
All behave like that on default bios settings.
I tried some other sensical bios settings without success so far.
Now to be clear, ECC is working, it is the reporting of corrected memory errors to the OS, memtest in this case, that is not working as expect.
Do you know which bios settings need to be on what value for this to work correctly?
Any other ideas and suggestions?
Cheers
