Hi
We have a DCS-7050S-64 in our lab. It had a pretty old EOS installed (4.12). This image did not support any 802.1X configurations. As there is no support on this switch, I searched and found a newer firmware one on a ftp server (4.17.7M).
I could configure 802.1X PBAC with this firmware but it does not deliver necessary attributes like the NAS-Port-Type to the RADIUS server (Microsoft NPS). As the NPS is configured to use this attribute as constraint in the Connection Request Policy, it will always return a Access-Reject without this attribute in the packet. It works on cisco devices and on vEOS in a virtual environment, but not in the hardware lab.
Does anyone know how I could proceed? I could not find any 4.18 EOS release which is the last one supported on this switch. I am currently trying to use different conditions on the MS NPS but I did not have any success yet.
Kind regards,
Dominik
