I have two Samsung (M393A8G40MB2-CVF) 64GB 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM ECC Registered DDR4 2933 (PC4 23400) Server Memory Model MEM-DR464L-SL01-ER29. $150 each. Both for $250. Free shipping lower 48. Pay with Zelle.

Purchased by mistake. My motherboard/CPU combo won't accept that fast memory.

You're not alone. We've had that discussion here several times. This mb and cpu just will not recognize the memory.

It's documented in the manual as a very small footnote.

endorsement note: I've completed a couple of deals and trades with @rskoss - good person and easy to communicate with. If I had a use for these they would not have even made it to this listing. :p

The board is SuperMicro X11SPH-NCTF. The CPU is Intel Xeon Silver 4110.

The Xeon Platinum will work with this ram and I believe the Gold does too (not 100% sure of that one). Out of my price-range though.

I wonder if you can rewrite the memory profile using a board that would accept it
