SmartOS and Intel DC P4800X

    Hi.

    Could anyone confirm that Intel's DC P4800X (NVMe, Optane, PCIe Card) is supported on SmartOS? Or has one in a lab and can test it? Or found some reports on the internet?

    I'd like to be sure about that before spending the money.

    It's just an NVMe drive so I don't see why not. If you're using SmartOS just do the 900p or 905p. You aren't running anything that intensive where the difference will matter.
