I'm trying to flash the firmware on an SAS 9200 16e from Version 5 to Version 19. I cannot get SAS2flsh to read the binary file. When trying to update the firmware I always get:

ERROR: Could not open file 9200-16e_it.bin.

It then says I have a syntax error and says I should use -f x where x is the file name.

The command I am using is:

SAS2Flsh.exe -o -f 9200-16e_it.bin

Which I am pretty sure is the correct syntax.

Any help would be appreciated. Been at this a while today.

If doing the same thing and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity, then I've definitely gone INSANE!!

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, using the DOS version. You are right it is truncated, should I change it to something shorter like 9200.bin and try that? Or use the truncated file name?

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Used the truncated name and worked perfectly!
Wish I had asked this about 8 hours ago.
