Free shipping Samsung DIMMs. I really debated getting these. There are 8 available: 32GB DDR4 LRDIMM ECC Server Workstation Memory Samsung M386A4G40DM0-CPB

32GB LR-DIMMs have been dropping quite a bit lately.

I picked up a pair back in November for ~$185 a stick.

Wow - you got me looking @helsyeah and I saw these too: 1 x 32GB Samsung PC4 PC4-2133P DDR4 2Rx4 Registered Memory for HP Dell Servers I think those are standard RDIMMs at $164 ea.

Not a fancy way, but the LRDIMMs have small buffer chips on them. If the pictures are accurate, it is like being able to count 8 packages for non-ECC UDIMMs and 9 packages for ECC UDIMMs.

Looks like a regular RDIMM, I think. Did they accept an offer from you? The one I linked took my offer for 2 @ $150/ea, vs $169 list (already the cheapest BIN I could find for a 32gb stick from reputable mfr).

I pinged several folks today and had trouble finding anyone else willing to take more than a couple of bucks off. Now that I've purchased, I don't want to go making any more offers...

no, did not make an offer, have no Board for ddr4. i asked them about Shipping for their 826 with x8-board to germany an had a look on the other items.
