According to this, Turing does have HEVC b frame support, right? I could be missing something. NVENC Application Note :: NVIDIA Video Codec SDK DocumentationEven if I want b frame support???
The RTX 4000 has b frame support, as does my 1660.Even if I want b frame support???
That site is a bit tricky for me to follow... But when I looked at GeForce and Quadro cards from this link, The A4000 was one of the first to have support for everything. I'm sure it's overkill for my current needs, but I've got my eyes on it.According to this, Turing does have HEVC b frame support, right? I could be missing something. Yup, I did see that. But if I want to use something tdarr, having b frame support will come in handy.By the way, b frame support is currently useless in Plex since Plex does not transcode to HEVC.
I use tdarr myself so yes that would be a good use case. But I still don't think the A4000 is worth anywhere near twice the price of the RTX 4000 given this use case.Yup, I did see that. But if I want to use something tdarr, having b frame support will come in handy.
I'm assuming the OP wants a single slot card (as do I).Why not an rtx a2000? 70 watt, should do everything you need.
I wondered about this site and its credibilityHere's the best price I've seen for a pre-order that is supposed to be in stock in about 11 days. I order from this vendor a lot.

Shopblt runs like a wholesale. The customers need patience: I ordered a Kingston SSD from it with a 14 business days ETA, but around 28 to 30 days to get the item after the order date.I wondered about this site and its credibility
I was thinking what happens after that window. But that 30 days could be the same for all internet sites... I'm used to brick and mortar 1 year warranties.I mean how long do you need to test to ensure your device is working? That's pretty typical.
What brick and mortar electronics store allows you to return products within a year? 30 days is very typical and after that you deal with the manufacturer warranty.I was thinking what happens after that window.
