So I am looking at picking up 2 400gb S3700 drives with fairly low hours/total writes (1500hrs with 850gb of total host writes) and I was wondering at what price would be they be considered a good deal/decent price. Thanks

This looks pretty good: Intel 400GB 2 5" SATA SSD DC S3700 SSDSC2BA400G3 Zero Hours New | eBay $340 but if you got it for $300 it would be very good price. $325-375 seems good these days.
Just for comparison, the last lot of S3700's I purchased were 800GB New for $350 each. This was an above average deal, but you may be able to find something similar. 400GB I have not seen under $300.
850gb writes is VERY VERY low for these to, lots of life left.
I'm going to assume most USED drives on ebay will have >1TB, 3/4 of mine have some in the 100s of TB but there's still over 10x drive left.
