I have a few and can probably get them a bit cheaper than that. They do work. The 8176M comparison I do not think is accurate. Also, they work more frequently in single socket systems. What do you want to know?

Oh, I do not have those. I just saw in the notes that these are not working on ASUS C612e.
They look like nice processors tho., a little slow tho.

24 low clocked cores and more expensive mobos/ servers. Unless they're giving a good discount, you might as well E5

They are more close to 8160 in terms of performance. Are they worth buying?

Turbo is not the same and they do not scale to 8 sockets.
Will it scale to 4 sockets with a SuperMicro X11QPH+ or something similar? What would be the best motherboard to run these in for 2 socket as well? Thanks,

Have you advanced on the motherboard quest?
thanks
According to the seller of my processor, the QL1K won't scale to 4 processors. There are certain difficulties associated with power requirements and stepping requirements of the processor.
