Does anyone know if I can use the c6100 power supply which 1100watt with c6220?
I can't seem to confirm the right power supply for a c6220. The one I purchased came with 1400watt but it required 200-240v. I looked at the manual and found that the 1200watt required 120v so I would be able to use it at the datacenter I'm moving into.
Closest I found was this (Dell Power Supply 1200WHL 1000WLL for Dell Cloudedge C6000 P N 27W3W | eBay) but I am not 100 percent sure as it mentions c6000 which I'm assuming is a general term. Problem is, does that mean this PS will work with the c6220 or c6100 as well?
I also checked the dell website (Power Supplies : Computer Chassis & Components : Parts & Upgrades | Dell) but no mention or link to the 1200 watt product. The interesting thing though is that it looks like the 1400 watt can be used on all the c6000 models including c6100 and c6220.
I didn't realize it would be this obscure. Might anyone have a hint?
Now I can't move forward on testing the hardware until I have a PS that actually starts up my c6220.
