Noob question about H220

Hi,
I own a DL360E from HP with a P420 raid but I would like to change it due to extremely low or fluctuating speeds. I would like to buy a H220 but I don’t know whether is possibile to boot from this card because when I tried to put the P420 in HBA mode it wasn’t able to boot from the disks. Is it possibile?

You generally just need to enter the bios menu of the card which sometimes is skipped when flashed to IT mode to shorten the boot time ~ example line you need to flash the bios (sas2flash.efi -o -b mptsas2.rom)
If you have that it should allow you to set it as a boot device and select which drive you want to boot to.
At least thats how it is with my H310.
