No SMART from IT flashed 9220-8i?

In windows server it doesn't read the smart info from the drives connected to the HBA flash in IT mode. Is this normal?

Could you give the test-version of Hard Disk Sentinel a go and report back if this programm can access your smart data?
I remember that with a certain Firmware in connection with a certain driver Windows could not access the SMART Data on the connected disks of my 9211-8i... But was 18 months ago (or longer).
