I'm getting ready to put a build together and would like some advice on it.
The specs are:
E3-1275
Asus WS c206 motherboard
32gb gskill
LSI 9260cv-8i
(6) 120gb mushkin chronos
(2) 120gb mushkin chronos DX
Intel I350-t4
This server is for furthering my skills and maybe learning some new software packages. I was thinking of running a Win2k8R2 + Exchange 2010 on a raid 0 with the 2 dx ssd's and doing a raid 5 with the 6 others for some type of storage use capacity. I'm not really sure what I should do with the 6 ssd's, I was thinking of zfs but don't won't the card in pass through mode. Any thoughts?
