Pictures when it comes together. I really like the Lian Li. I have 3-4 of them at this point.

Congrats on your new build! I'd love to see some pictures from the side as well. That's a lot of horsepower in a little space.

Those 5820k's are simple to overclock if you want a nice, free performance boost without going crazy (not the best idea in a tight space like that though). I have a 5820K in my workstation on an MSI X99S SLI Plus motherboard running at 4.3Ghz with just a slight voltage bump on a Kraken 240mm liquid cooler. I built mine in a NZXT full ATX tower though with space for a few GPUs and lots of hard drives.

I wonder how much power you're really using. I think 550w is huge overkill. To me 550w in that kinda case (even 400w) would be hard to dissipate.

Gonna take a part tomorrow, gonna snap some more pictures for you.

Only reason for the 550w is that I got it super cheap 65$ which is almost half price. And it will give me upgrade options plus that it's fan is not gonna spin up that often.

Sad update: The board went up in smoke(real smoke), so it shipped off to RMA. :(
Bugger, that's a lot worse than my Asrock Z77E-ITX, which limps along with a single RAM slot.

I guess a little late, but SFX PSUs are great at saving precious cm3's in small cases.

Actually I have ordered a new case and psu. Just because I can!

Should get a Silverstone 500w SFX-L and the Silverstone Milo ML07 later this month.

Nicely done, I am becoming very curious about mini-itx as my workstation is starting to show its age.

Do it! Been using mini-itx for my main workstation for years now, the small footprint is fantastic. The WAF is super high is a nice bonus.

I'm kinda going the other way. If I was to replace my mITX workstation today I would be tempted go back to mATX as I really appreciate the extra flexibility that comes with the larger form factor. If I didn't need that flexibility I would be tempted to go sub-mITX.
