Great info. If I get more cards I will focus on those 4E4T cards ... (and may try it) and see about reselling the SSD7120. :)

Just to add some compatibility info here: I successfully tested the Supermicro AOC-SLG3-4E4T-O connected to an Intel A2U8X25S3PHS on both the supermicro X11SPI-TF and the AsRock Rack WC621D8A-2T.
