Did you somehow solve the problem with the driver for i226-V? And also how were you able to install the driver for RZ616?
Go here:

So just received my barebone unit with i5-12600H. Plugged 2x16GB of Crucial (CT2K16G56C46S5) and a cheap M.2 SSD for testing, waiting for 4TBs ones. So far, no issue : first boot took some time, but after that everything works fine. Performance is satisfying for the few things I tried (will be using as NAS & Frigate). 10G SFP+ DAC Twinax cables from 10Gtek (CAB-10GSFP-P2M) are working fine too in the SFP+ slots. Idling CPU at 26° (default paste), 14W for the whole machine. Overall pretty satisfied so far.

What 4TB ones are you going with? What's your planned overall end result?
No precise reference in mind for the SSDs, I have a Crucial P3 currently in use that will most likely go there (but did not try it yet). I'll probably aim for big brand references for minimum waranty/support... but waiting a bit for the budget.

In the end I will obviously target 1GB+/s NAS transfers. For power and temperature (and noise...) nothing expected either yet, will adapt if WAF is too low ^^

My MS-01 suddenly stop responding today, when I went to check it, I couldn't turn it on and the light on the power supply was blinking. When I unplugged the power supply from the pc, the light was solid green. Has anyone have this issue before?

I'm thinking it may be the power supply that went bad, but I'm afraid something might have fried on the pc itself.
Turns out the issue was in the computer, not power supply. Sent them an e-mail and after a few exchanges they approved RMA, just got the new unit yesterday, 20 days total.

Any luck having P+E cores enabled on Proxmox with latest Intel Microcode and BIOS? I left my E cores enabled to test, let's see how many days I'll go without a reboot. Old unit with E cores disabled had a few months uptime.

My setup:
MS-01 13900H
2x Crucial 48GB DDR5-5600 running at 5200MHz
Samsung 980 Pro 2TB
Sabrent Rocket 4.0 500GB
NICGIGA 540X-T2 (passthrough to pfsense)

The server is connected to a DAS enclosure using USB-C 10Gbps with 5x8TB Toshiba N300 (which had to RMA 2 units on the first couple months).

I'm doubt between 32GB and 64GB RAM.
Is it possible to start with only 1 (32GB) memory module so I can decide later on to buy 1 module of 32GB more?

"have the server plugged into a smart plug with energy. I set it to power off between 23:04 and 23:15 only if the power levels dip below 5 watts for 2 minutes. After 5 minutes it powers back on. (Set the BIOS to always power on on power restoral)

unfortunately I have had to resort to similar. I do not have access to the beta firmware to adjust memory speed, I have 96gb mushkin memory, and server would crash every 2-3 days. I hooked up to a smart plug, and do a cronjob to backup all LXC's at 3:45 am, power down the node at 3:50, turn the power off at 3:55 and then power back on at 4:00 am.

works but id rather have a stable system.
9-14-2024 was my last crash. I went from having to power cycle 3 times a day to completely rock solid.
Setting the memory at 4400 did the trick. Ask for the 1.24 bios from JaxJiang. DM them.
I set quite a few other things anyway, but only clocking the memory at 4400 did the trick. I am tempted to bump up the clocks to 4800, but for my use (Proxmox), that little of a memory bandwidth increase is not noticeable.

Do an UEFI bios load. Instructions are in the bios file that Jax.Jiang will send.

Give me a little more time and I will try to redesign it to make it scalable, which takes a lot of time :). The case is 2U as it is design to go big or go home with the fan (120 mm). The one I posted above fits perfectly in 10" rack. To make it completely scalable going to 19" rack with one or two ms01 side-by-side I would need to give a choice for different use cases. I will let you guys know when it's done :)
I know this is a bit old, but I'm hoping that you might still be around, and willing to share the STLs?

Is it still running fine and rock solid? And would you please tell me which ram you are using? Thanks!!

Maybe someone can just post the bios since minisforum has no clue what in talking about and the user representative here hasn’t responded to people in awhile. A download would be super appreciated. Thanks

Just share the god-damb bios, we are all big boys :)

Edit: make to include SHA256

No reboots so far. 7 days uptime running proxmox with P+E cores and HT enabled, that’s a first for me.

On pve: Edited /etc/network/interfaces and specified the VLANs manually for the 10GB NIC. That helped improve the stability. A lot less "warnings" from dmesg. Running for 17 days since last "freeze".
(Also have all smart values of all disks/nvmes, ZPool status details, core temps reported into Home Assistant using MQTT. Makes me sleep better)
