Hi

I'm building a security system (saas web, offline first, mobile app etc.) and am looking for a small server to host it. This system consists of controlling the entry/exit of people/service to a private neighborhood. The system will work with nfc keys, QR codes, etc. and will be housed on a small sentry box in the main entrance of the neighbourhood, with an UPS, etc.
Can anyone recommend me a robust, maybe rugged, reliable, small server that can work 24/7 on hard climate conditions, and also I'd need a suggestion of a ventilated box/rack with key or some kind of security to put this server and UPS to avoid it being touched/stolen

Thanks a lot for any suggestions you can give me

Not sure what your cpu/memory/storage requirements are or if you want to buy used, but there are some Advantech MIC 7700 industrial fanless 6th gen i7 systems on US ebay for around $200.

Based on your requirements, you know exactly what you need, or have no clue what your needs are.

Either buy what you were thinking you need, or hire a professional. This is a home hobbyist forum, not a professional helper forum.

Edit: not trying to gate keep, but gate keeping is my main security concern. You mention a property, imply many security concerns. As a new member, I can only, only, only, assume you mean for the best, but have stepped outside your professional and personal abilities. Please, for all that is security, hire a professional to design this system.

Onlogic makes some nice stuff. Embedded Industrial Computers for Edge & IoT
Depending on model they can have IPMI/BMI ethernet port and LAN port, plus dual drives and designed for fully passive cooling. Just consider if you need dual servers for redundancy, since people will get really pissed off if it is down.
Damn. I didn't think about redundancy, you're right. Onlogic looks great, tons of options. Will check it out

The requirements for the server are not high, but I must check for new items, because I'll have to import them because I'm from Latin America :)

Hey! calm down. I'm just a freelance developer and know very well what to do. I know the server for this app should not be a common PC, it should be durable, rugged, robust, etc. and just were looking for some suggestions. There're no important security concerns on this system because it is not the access system for the Buckingham Palace. Thanks anyway
