These really aren't for home lab use, but maybe if you've got a ton of money, don't need a lot of CPU and want to run lots of VMs. 8 available so you can fill out an EPYC 1P https://www.ebay.com/itm/1X-128GB-Micron-MTA144ASQ16G72LSZ-2S6G1-2S4Rx4-PC4-2666V-ECC-LRDIMM-Larger-64GB/183816003059

$600 OBO.

Even at $4800 for all 8 that's a steal compared to what Dell charges (about $3K per 128GB DIMM)

For a 1TB RAM system, that's good. You can do cheaper by getting 2x 64GB but there's 8 available and it's less than twice the cost of 64GB DIMMs which means someone may want it https://www.ebay.com/itm/1X-64GB-Micron-MTA72ASS8G72PSZ-2S6G1-2S2Rx4-PC4-2666V-ECC-REG-21300-RDIMM-DDR4/183837086899

Here's a single Hynix too https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hynix-128gb-PC4-2666V-2S4Rx4-21300-ECC-LRDIMM-Server-Memory-HMABAGL7M4R4N-VN/233254184428 same $600 with BO

You could even do 2 EPYC processors or systems with 4 lrdimms per and then upgrade later.
