For example, mess with mlxi2c_bf to tweak fan speed parameters.

Do you know how much quieter it typically is when you tweak fan speed parameters? And how much hotter it typically runs with the reduced fan speed?

The SX6036 was a little bit quieter and the SX6018 could run the fans quite a bit slower and was a lot quieter. I'm unsure if my SX6036 being single PSU and the SX6018 being dual PSU had any difference on how slow I could run the fans before tripping the fan alarm which ramps everything to full speed.

In both cases the main CPU temperature went up I think around 6-7C to a bit under 70C. I don't have either of the switches online at the moment to check.

Will be replacing the fans inside of the SX6036 and didn't want to cannabalize the original fan connectors.

Will be making an adapter to the standard 4 pin connectors that we're all used to.

I'm looking for the x86 firmware for the SX6036.
It seems like the original source dried up, would love to hear if anyone would happen to have this laying around.
