I may have accidently pressed the release button on the front of one of my hotswap bays a few days ago and i didnt think anything of it because i just pressed it back in and now I've just noticed that one of the drives showed as unconfigured (bad). I'm not even sure if that's the cause.

I have no idea how to fix it but i changed it to unconfigured (good) and it doesn't look like it fixed it. I don't really know what i'm doing when it comes to this stuff so if anyone could help me i would apprechiate it. I have attached print screens of the storage manager.

Thank You!

If I remember correctly:
GoTo - controller - scan foreign configuration...

That should fix

Sorry but I am not at home, so remembering is all I can do: What about right click on the "unconfigured good"?
Does that show an option like "rebuilt"?

Or somewhere "replace missing disk"

Just try make drive online.

but I think this won't work and you will have to do the rebuild afterwards.

But no harm done. You will know in a few seconds if you are done or if you have to go through the lengthy rebuild process

congrats! that is looking good.

harddisksentinal could be a possibility.
With my LSI 9361-8i the program can "see" behind the Virtual disks and I can see smart values, temperatures and all those things.
I think there is a free test version.

Hard Disk Sentinel - HDD health and temperature monitoring
if you are convenient on smartctl command on windows or linux(unix), you can easily get smart info behind virtual drive on lsi ( tried old card adaptec 3 series for fun, No luck to get smart info).

I do on 9240 (under virtual drive RAID 1), and tested 9260 (just tried to kill my curiosity, since 9260 support RAID 5 or greater).
my purpose is to set APM=254 for performance and reduce much load-unload cycle on non-SSD.
load-unload cycle kills HD (recent desktop or laptop) very quick when running 24/7.
I verfiy WD-black by default APM=128, and load-unload cycle is shooting to the ceiling with default 128, I have to set to 254. yeah power consumption raised 1W overall for each drive :).
