I have managed to 'locate' jinstall-ex-2200-12.3R12.4-domestic-signed.tgz (dated 9/26/2018) but this appears to be pretty out of date.... and does anyone have the MD5 file to validate it has not been tampered with?

I don't suppose someone has firmware for an ex4300 from this century. Following instructions on their website refer to a firmware version that is probably a year newer then what is on this switch.

Anyway some one can help me get firmware for a EX4200? Looks like someone bricked the unit I have trying to update from too many levels behind. that or something else is wrong with it.

Also anyone know where I can find this JUNOS Web Management Application package [15.1A4.1] for a EX4200? Juniper locks everything down I cant find anything. Lucky I did find a updated firmware I was able to downloaded and I got this switch recovered. But took a lot of waiting and work.

I have a problem with the switch, I have an RJ45 to USB (FTDI) cable, I have plugged the cable into the "CON" port of the switch, I see the switch booting but I cannot stop it by pressing the space bar. I have tried various software (putty, tera term, real term).
Can you give me a suggestion?

What's your current JunOS version? v17.3 and newer boot seq stopping keys is CTRL+C

Also, another tip from here:

When you see the " Hit [Enter] to boot immediately, or space bar for command prompt " message prompt appear, press the Space bar to get the loader prompt.
(To avoid missing it, you may start pressing the Space bar some seconds before the message prompt appears).
