What's your current JunOS version? v17.3 and newer boot seq stopping keys is CTRL+C
Also, another tip from here:
The version is JUNOS 11.4R1.6

I had already read these suggestions, I tried about ten times with various software and various methods, space bar pressed fixed or pressed repeatedly. I've always started pressing it before it appears
"Hit [Enter] to boot immediately, or space bar for command prompt"
I have never been able to access the "command prompt".

Do you have another USB->Serial adapter you could test with?

Hi Everyone.

I'm from Brazil and I gained a EX2200 for my homelab... in Brazil it's out of the ordinary to think of winning something like this, it's rare for them to go to waste like this, , generally speaking, they are used until they burn out or stop working.
I've been following STH for some time now and I ended up finding this topic in my search across the entire network.
Could someone share the firmware of the latest version 12.03 version of it?

thanks

Hi all,
I bought an EX2300-24T for my homelab but it doesn't recognize any SFP+ I put in it, tried both compatible avago and official juniper finistar.
I'd like to try a full reinstall via usb media install but can't find the firmware anywhere.

Anyone know where to find a media install of 20.4R3 or 21.2R3 ? Or any other release > 15

thanks

Hi all, Just another hopeless home-labber looking for the jinstall-ex-2200-12.3R12.4-domestic-signed.tgz or jinstall-ex-2200-12.3R12-S15-domestic-signed.tgz firmware for an ex2200-c purchased via ebay. If anyone would be so kind, I'd be forever in your debt.

FWIW, I found a couple comments from a guy on Reddit who was sharing firmware for a similar switch. I can't find it atm but if you do some sleuthing (site:reddit.com), he may be able to help you out.

I was looking at an used Juniper switch on ebay but by reading this thread made me realize what a mistake buying these cheap switches is. Hp in the other hand let's you download the firmware freely for any model.

Seeking junos-srxsme-21.2R3-S3.tgz in relation to the latest CVE related to J-Web. Have currently disabled web management, but would like to upgrade to the current recommended version. Currently running 20.2r3-S2.5 on an SRX300. Was purchased via another company via CDW, we have no login to Juniper's site.

edit: Our hardware vendor recommends using junos-srxsme-20.4R3-S4.8.tgz as it is verified quite stable and also has the issue resolved. This would also be nice to have.

Thanks for the firmware files.

Just a quick observation - I am cross checking the MD5 checksum of the firmware files provided against Juniper's website and noticed that it's not the same (checking on a mac) :

The MD4 checksum of the provided firmware is : MD5 (junos-srxsme-20.4R3-S4.8.tgz) = 4176e438c6d78db8d4e3442a07b62260
Juniper indicates that the checksum of the file is MD5 : 8fadfcc8f26a5086d334df4fff492165

Is it ok to check the MD5 checksum on a mac or should I check it on an existing Juniper device ? Would it make a difference ?

Checksum matches, the checksum ending in 92165 is for 20.4R3, not 20.4R3-S4.8.

Checksums for 20.4R3-S4.8:

So in case anyone wondering. I'm not suggesting you go dl from there, and I haven't compared and verified it myself, but in general, there are some channels on infamous "telegram" messenger that end with _collection, and they can be browsed through i think even non-js browser. Where you can find things like juniper, vmware, cisco, and maybe something else. Just fyi.
Don't blindly flash that stuff to your systems, triple check, first yourself, then ask someone you trust for hashes. You never know.
