2696V4 outperforms a 2699 V4Please take this as constructive comments to help you sell these better
The buyers on here are very discerning. Even without the QS and ES debate, you're still trying to sell older gen, used, chips for a 60% premium over a brand new retail boxed current gen tech with warranty.
- As a new member, I do think photos with name are sage advice. I buy lots of items on the STH forums. I'd feel more comfortable buying from you through ebay where there is buyer protection. I am not saying you are not trustworthy. You are just brand new to the community.
- I think your pricing is way out of line.
- Current gen, the E5-2699 V3 is similar to but not as good as the E5-2697 V4. Same clock speeds, cores, and cache. Intel® Product Specification Comparison - the V4 has other improvements so maybe the E5-2696 is similar now.
- Retail box 2697 V4's are on the open market at $2050 OBO Intel Xeon E5-2697 v4 Octadeca-core 2.3 GHz Processor w/ 45MB Cache | eBay - I'd expect to get 10% or more off of that. MSRP on the E5-2697 V4 is $2700.
- V3 is also about to be a 2 generation old processor as V5's are launching now
- You are mentioning condition B. What does that mean? There's no standard for that. Pictures again will help.
