I do have a single ssd plugged in and mounted as a datastore.I don't even see any SATA devices on your list... any drives plugged in?

I saw it. Good review but didn't it come out in march?Seriously can't wait to move my server to this platform, here's another good review to go along iwth Patrick's: The Intel Xeon D Review: Performance Per Watt Server SoC Champion?
I've got a bunch from here bookmarkedi'm late to the game aparently
Wish Hyper-V was an option for me but with no USB passthrough (bootable USB that is), just won't work for me.I'm on hyper-v so I'd be ok.
Just don't have the 2k for the setup I want.
What doesn't work? I was just about to order 3 of these for a small test lab.If only VMware would fully support this platform I'd be able to fully enjoy my X10SDV-TLN4F board. I'm sure it's coming down the pike but it's frustrating that such a great platform for virtualization isn't fully supported yet.
The two 10 gig NICs will not work in VMware at present. What doesn't work? I was just about to order 3 of these for a small test lab.
... Well that's the unfortunate since I just bought a 10Gbe switch for my lab.The two 10 gig NICs will not work in VMware at present.
You can if they are compiled into a VIB file but no one has yet. I've been searching since I got the board. Can you load drivers into the VMware kernel?
So roll your own.You can if they are compiled into a VIB file but no one has yet. I've been searching since I got the board.
I looked into that but unfortunately it's above my head. Even the driver files I have for the 10gig NICs look foreign to me I don't even know which files I'd need.
If you are looking in anything that resembles the retail channel, no. Some of the storage/ networking specific SKUs got pushed.Has anyone seen solutions around the 1520 yet? The 1540 is completely overkill for my intended uses.
