Nope. Don't buy them unless you have Intel motherboards to throw them onto. I have four of these in my VSAN setup and I've verified they don't power up with any other brand of motherboard.

Looks like there are reports of this card working in the Intel S2600CP boards on various forums. I did see where people had to set ACPI=off to get it working under some linux distro's.

It is the cheapest way to add extra SATA3 or SAS ports in older Intel C602 system board.
Now I no longer $75 or more for a LSI 2308 card .

Does anyone know if this card supports JBOD? I tried looking at some of the spec docs and it said it supported a larger number of single drives but it didn't exactly say JBOD. I know sometimes firmware updates change this, so just wondering.
