Best thing is you can also use it with a compatible laser printer!

Someone should use Amazon's feature "Ask A Question" to inquire why it is "The Best".

Actually - I do need to find a per-outlet managed 120v and 208v ones in the next few weeks.

That one is almost identical to the one I have in my rack in the basement. I would guess that the listing is for an AP8853 matches the specs/description from the title of the link, while mine (an AP8841) is only rated for 30A instead of 32A due to slightly lower voltages in north america VS europe. It is also far from the best - it cannot do any per-outlet management or monitoring, and can only do monitoring per output-breaker (it has two, so 18 C13's and 3 C19's per group).

If anyone is seriously looking at it, keep in mind that with that 230V rating in its title it probably has a european-style plug on it. If you're in the US or Canada go find yourself the AP8841 which has a L6-30P plug. Also, APC list price on the AP8841 is only $600USD, so you should be able to get it for a lot less than that amazon listing.

@sachem87184 hooked me up with a kickass PDU in DEC.`14 I haven't even used yet, might ask him if he has anymore he doesn't need. I believe the one I got does management + monitoring per-port.

It's become less useful for me in the datacenter with the multinodes... lol but for home I think I'll find plenty usages :)

I got some cheap 'web power' remote managed PDUs so I could power-on and off lights outside ;) via phone hehe :D
