Don't know how much of a deal this is, but looks like the little brother of the T640.

There are several others for around $100.
It’s like a t640 but with one RAM slot, and the R1305G is roughly 80% performance-wise that of the R1505G. The Front USB disablement can simply be a BIOS setting. Is it a deal? Eeeh, I’ve seen base model t740s available for less than 260 before, and the 640 is around 140 or often less. See if you can lowball one for around 80 or so.

Last year I got a t640 for around $100, wanted to use it for proxmox with the add-on fiber adapter. When it arrived a friend needed something not too costly to replace his desktop as his computer died, so I sold it to him at cost. I wanted to order another t640 but when I did prices climbed to the $300-400 range. I'm not in the US and everything takes about a month to arrive.

I saw this t540 and wondered if it'll be equivalent to the t640.

The T540 doesn't look like it can support the fiber add-on with how the innards look. Page 18 of the PDF linked below shows the replaceable parts and the wifi card isn't in an optimal spot to replace with the fiber adapter. Was wondering if the black cutout rectangle below the DP ports on the back would be something worth looking at for a different NIC.
