Files are named a little different, but have RF35 and RC50 endings. I looked up in contents both have names you provided, so they are probably the ones that you're looking for.
Hi, thanx a lot - I can confirm this strange .tar file is a .fw file. And i've updated firmware on f320 using it to KPYAJR3Q. Just renamed it to MS1PC5ED3.JR3Q.fw and continued using nvme-cli as mentioned aboveHi Everyone, this is probably my first post here... Anyone interested in testing KPYAJR3Q firmware. I've extracted it from Oracle Exadata, but don't have my drive yet (Bought it yesterday from Cloud Storage Corp in US and I'm in EU). For some reason it has .tar extension, but doesn't look like tar file... Let me know if anyone is interested
Hi there! Is it possible to extract firmware files (ILOM and Bios) for X7-2 platform from this Exadata big patch?I don't have access to Oracle Support, only got the big patch from Oct 22. I think it is assumed that you have second to last update and the last ones are included in this patch.
There is a .pkg file named: ILOM-5_1_0_23_r146986-ORACLE_SERVER_X7-2-rom.pkgHi there! Is it possible to extract firmware files (ILOM and Bios) for X7-2 platform from this Exadata big patch?
Great, that's exactly what I'm looking for. As far as I can see both ILOM and BIOS comes in a single bundled .pkg file, so this file will be enough! There is a .pkg file named: ILOM-5_1_0_23_r146986-ORACLE_SERVER_X7-2-rom.pkg
I'm not sure if it is the one you're looking for, but I can share it if you.
Regarding Bios files - do you have any idea how it can be called?
I've uploaded it to dropbox and the link is few posts above. Good Luck!Great, that's exactly what I'm looking for. As far as I can see both ILOM and BIOS comes in a single bundled .pkg file, so this file will be enough!
For me, the solution to this was enabling the "Performance" or "Performance Per Watt OS" power profile on my R730XD. I'm guessing "Performance Per Watt (DPAC)" wasn't providing enough juice. So I attempted performance testing on a pair of these F320 drives, and any large block transfers are really quite slow.
I have two drives, and one was brand new, no power on cycles according to SMART. And their preformance is within testing margins, but not fast. I have older FLASHMAXII drives that seem to kill it on large block transfers. Is this normal?
Here's what I've got.I have just gotten a hold of an Oracle X8-2L but is running really old BIOS and ILOM and was wondering if anyone has access to more up to date BIOS and ILOM.
Here's what I've got.
