Good Deal: Supermicro SC836 NEW Case

Thought this was a good deal for a brand new SC836 case with PSUs and rails included. Priced lower then most used ones and you can make an offer too.

The power supplies do not appear to be 80 Plus rated. That tells me they are probably hot and louder than they need to be. Second, the power distribution module appears to be missing.

Yep, still a good deal IMO for a new SC836. Retail for a new one is much higher. Rails alone go for $100.

I was thinking about ordering up another 24U but this one might fit the bill. I see no mention of a backplane does that mean I'll have to buy one separately?

This chassis has a non-expander backplane. Direct connect only.

I see no PSU power distribution too.

those fans are 3pin not 4 pin PWM fan.

If someone has spare parts: SM pwm fans, and PSU Power distribution. this deal could be a good candidate.
