I'm clearing out some 10/40Gb equipment, all lovingly used in my lab. I'll upload photos once I get a chance, but here's the rundown:

One has tool-less rack ears, the other has a new(!) pair of tool-less rails.

I accept payment via Wise, Zelle, and PayPal with a G&S invoice. Discounts on multiple item purchases and shipping to be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. I prefer USPS Priority on smaller items, and UPS on larger items.

All items are available for local pickup in the Portland, Maine area and shipping will originate there.

Whats the noise and power use on the Arista DCS-7050T-52 look like?

48 10G copper ports has to run hot as heck

48 10G copper ports has to run hot as heck
If you load it up with 48 active ports, yes it will need the fans running fast enough that you probably don't want it at home (you have 48x 10Gb copper ports at home, though? :)) I used about two dozen ports at a time, and set it to 30% fan speed. I personally wouldn't sit next to it for an extended period, but it would be okay in a closet or basement. Obviously, this is a DC switch, not some Ubiquiti-class device.

At the load I ran it at, it was consuming about 200W. Maybe as high as 250W on occasion, but certainly no more than that. It's definitely less efficient than 1/10Gb SFP+ switching, but running transceivers to adapt to an existing copper cable plant is going to need much more than this option.
