Sigh. Turns out this particular model does NOT work with the 2011-3 Narrow ILM sockets: it only works with the square ones. So I have an unused one of these looking for a good home. I'm new here so happy to do a facetime or phone call or whatever before the sale to verify.

Same thing happened to me. I have one unused in box somewhere in my garage as well. I went with a Noctua, they make narrow ILM brackets, if not in the box, you can contact them and they will send you the correct mounting bracket to accommodate narrow ILM.
