I haven't seen it posted, but it seems that there are a lot of L5639's being dumped on Ebay right now. While they're not quite as nice as L5640's, they're currently going for ~$150 each, instead of the $200+ for ES versions of the L5640's (which they should be pretty equivalent to, since I think that the ES turbo isn't as high as the retail version; their base clock is low, their turbo settings are pretty nice at 2/2/3/3/4/4, so they actually beat the L5520's at the same number of cores active).
I'm trying to decide myself if it's worth upgrading from a pair of L5520's or not. The L5520's were so cheap (~$36 each), that the 50% more cores at slightly better clocks, AES, along with handling 2xDIMMs per channel at 1333MHz instead of 1066MHz doesn't quite seem to be worth the price premium of over 4x... But they're by far the cheapest hex core's that I've seen and maybe they will get even cheaper since there seem to be so many of them for sale.
