ES Intel DC series SSD - Thoughts?

Hello all,

I am looking for feedback from those who have bought engineering sample SSD's in the past. I would mainly use the drives for home lab VM's.
  • What was your overall experience?
  • Any issues with data corruption or I/O?
  • Would you save a few bucks and buy an ES again?
I have seen a few on ebay, but there is limited SMART data. It doesn't appear they show TBW/TBR or cycle count, just mainly POH. So I guess there is no way to see how much the drive was used. I know you cannot update the firmware, so whatever you get you are stuck with.

Any input or suggestions are appreciated.
