I just received an AMD Epyc 7302P new in box from HPE via the thread below and noticed on the 7302P that it has the 6 lines of laser etchings, with the part number, item number, serial number, Diffused in USA, Diffused in Taiwan, and then on the last line, all of the Rome CPU's I've seen pictures of to-date say "Made in Malaysia", where as the one I have says "Made in China" on the very last line. Curious as to what other 7302P or lower CPU's have shown.

Looking at the manufacture date code and location data closer, it appears AMD Epyc 7002 CPU's are made in both Suzho, China and Penang, Malaysia.

The AMD Epyc manufacturer date code follows this form:
[YY][WW] [SUT or SUS] or [PGT or PGS]
[YY] (two digit year)
[WW] (two digit week)

First Two Letters: ATMP (assembly, test, mark, and pack) facilities.
[ SU ] [ S ]uzho[ u ] (Suzhou, China) or [PG] [P]enan[G] (Penang, Malaysia).

Last Letter: Wafter Production Location
[ S ]aratoga, NY or [T]exas (Austin, Texas)
