Downgrade from RAID to HBA

Hi,

I want to move from Hardware RAID to a nice ZFS system in HBA mode.

I currently have 2 LSI 9361-4i cards that work just fine.

I see 4 options:
1. There is a way to switch the card into a HBA mode (didn't find any yet)
2. Flash another firmware (no clue)
3. Buy a 9300-4i card
4. Don't use nice ZFS system

Are 1 & 2 options that I missed? Or should I just go buy a new card?

Not exactly equivalent to reflashing but will give transparent access to drives:

storcli /c0 set jbod=on

You need a model that either comes with IT (best) or IR (good) firmware or is reflashable to one of them.

@Whaat thanks, setting to JBOD does the trick, I can see all the devices now in Ubuntu.

broadcom only provide the cli tool for change setting, MSM doesn't update for 9300/9400 ...
