I've spent some time digging and I'm leaning towards them being the same as Gen 14/15. They look pretty much the same and there is at least one store out there claiming so.
@Patrick, any chance you can try a Gen 14/15 disk caddy on a Gen 16 server?

can you use any m.2 in these boss cards, or do the m.2 drives need to be dell branded?

the review says it supports 32 dimms, but I only see 16?

it would have been cool to see a better shot of the relatively dimunitive heatsinks.
