Making a thread placeholder.

This is a bit of a teaser given what will be reviewed on STH tomorrow.

Some of the more candid feedback here is that I was very surprised with how quiet the unit is. 55dba was maximum on the Extech NIST calibrated sound meter but it fell into the 43-44dba range after boot. Certainly not something that I would want sitting next to my desk, but not overly loud either. @Kristian has a nice fan mod post which I could see making this switch extremely quiet.

Will this review be covering just that model, or other ones in the range as well (if you don't mind me asking). Looking at the DGS 1510-20 version - looks to be ideal for my needs (16 ports, 2x SFP+, 2X SFP) - seems to be ideal for the home lab, and a decent switch only competitor to the Mikrotik alternatives.

Only the DGS-1510-28X. We do have a DXS-1210-12TC up next from D-Link.
