Cross flashed M5016 - what level to flash to

I cross-flashed my M5016 using the LSI 2208-16.rom file to resolve lack of JBOD support

Controller now displays:
Firmware version 3.270.65-2578
FW Package version 23.160-0018
Jun 17 2013
WebBIOS 6.1-65-Rel

The card has the supercap.

While trying some firmware levels they bitched about a bad "battery pack"

So what is the best level of the LSI firmware to be at?

Which supercap are you using? If you have the correct supercap (IBM FRU: 81Y4579) you can use the latest firmware (5.14PR). Otherwise you can't go later than firmware 5.10p1.
