BMC: read the "GBT_BMC_Firmware_Upgrade_User_Guide_v005.pdf"In the Gigabyte file it actually is mentioned how to update via BMC. The BMC firmware itself does also not update.
unknown because you don't talk.Hmm, ok, unfounded something different. The manual, wich u get when downloading the firmware, discribes also how to update via BMC
to what BMC Fiwmware version. inside latest there is no mention to update inside BMCWebGUI.What do u mean to what BMC?
full AC cycle, restart re-POST is required. with newest BMC FW and old BIOS this can happen.but the BIOS is not shown at all anymore in the BMC.
only a BIOS POST can update (send) the version info of BIOS to the BMC. the BMC itself does not know what BIOS version.I am afraid now that something went wrong there and I can not shut down my pc.
i bet yes.I use the VGA output with an adapter VGA to HDMI on an Asus monitor. Could this be the problem? Do I need a dedicated VGA monitor?
active VGA(analog 15pin) to HDMI/DVI/DP may work, needs power from usb.And if so, isn’t there a possibility to use a VGA HDMI or display port adapter?
there was also a trick with some Gigabyte not showing VGA display, the trick is to connect the VGA connector after the NUM light of the keyboard lights up.Ahhh ok, so there are aktive adapters I could try?
i have never sayd it doesn't.But the Update from Windows of BMC and BIOS worked!
AdvancedAlso I could not find any option in the BIOS to use internal GPU?!
